IMPERFECT INTERIORS X PILGRIM

Born from a shared commitment to thoughtful design, enduring craftsmanship and sustainability, this collection has been shaped through collaboration, made to be lived with for years to come.

Details are intentionally tactile, from dovetailed oak drawer boxes to cast bronzed-brass knobs, traditional tongue-and-groove detailing and birds-beak supports, all designed to be used and handled daily.

With a range of options in size, finish and arrangement, each piece can be shaped to feel personal to the home it’s made for.

Timeless, versatile and full of character, with the kind of craftsmanship that feels rare today.

Crafted in the Details

Our design handwriting is one of restraint, resulting in refined proportions and timeless silhouettes. This collection is practical, tactile and made for daily use. Furniture made to be used every day, designed to wear in, not out.

Details vary across the collection, but may include the following. Drawer boxes are dovetailed oak on soft-close runners. Knobs are cast bronzed-brass, developing a patina over time. Doors are hung on traditional brass butt hinges and frames are solid hardwood.

Interior backs feature traditional tongue-and-groove detail, and shelves are adjustable on birds-beak supports. Mirrors are fitted with Belgian glass, generously bevelled to reflect light beautifully, bringing depth to a room.

Each piece is hand-made to order, allowing for adjustments in size, finish or arrangement. If you would like any alterations to the collection, please enquire.

Belgian Mirror Glass: Clarity and Craft

For centuries, the finest mirror glass in Europe came from Venice, where the makers of Murano produced mirrors of remarkable clarity at a time when most reflections were wavering and imperfect. By the nineteenth century, that expertise had shifted north, and Belgian glassworks refined the production of flat, consistent sheets, silvered to create reflections that were bright, stable and true. That legacy remains.

Good mirror glass is not simply about shine, but about flatness, consistency and optical clarity. Inferior mirrors can introduce subtle distortion or dullness, bending reflections and flattening light. Belgian glass avoids this through its uniformity, producing a clean, accurate reflection with depth rather than glare, returning light evenly into a room.

Bevelling adds a final layer of craft. The angled edge catches light at the perimeter, softening the transition between glass and frame, as our mirrors shift light gently through a space.
